I am Natasha, I have a BSc in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, with a specialism in Mental Health. I have completed various other continued professional development learning including: training as a Practice Leader in Positive Behaviour Support (ongoing)  and Solihull Approach Foundation and Advanced Training.  I have over 12 years of experience supporting both adults and children with intellectual disabilities, various neurodiverse conditions and mental health concern’s within the healthcare, private and voluntary sectors. I currently work within a specialist team to complete behavioural assessments and interventions to support children with an intellectual disability who present with high levels of behaviours of concern. I’m deeply committed to working collaboratively to create environments where people can thrive. I lead on embedding evidence-based, person-centred practices that reduce restrictive interventions and promote meaningful quality of life improvements. I am Sarah, I have a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy (2007) and a MSc in Psychology of Childhood Adversity (2021). Throughout my career, I have worked in a range of settings, including special schools, autism assessment and intervention services, community and bilingual services, and healthcare within the prison system. In 2014, I qualified as a Registered Intermediary and have spent over 10 years supporting children and adults with speech, language, and communication needs within the justice system. Currently, I am part of a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with intellectual disabilities and behaviours that challenge. I am passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential by optimizing their communication skills, adapting their environment, and empowering caregivers. My goal is to help people access education, social opportunities, and develop meaningful relationships, ensuring that they can live fulfilling lives and participate fully in society.

I am Anya, I have a BScHons degree in Occupational Therapy along with post graduate studies in sensory integration, sensory and attachment and sensory and behaviour.  I have over 12 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist with children with a wide range of abilities and behaviours.  Currently I work within a specialist behavioural team to support children with intellectual disabilities and significant behaviours of concern. I am passionate about addressing sensory preferences for children and enabling them to access each environment they come across. My hope is to support children to engage with their activities of daily living both in school and in other settings in a way that fully supports their development, engagement and works with the level they are at.

I have completed further training regarding Positive Behaviour Support and CPD courses in Autism, Mental Health Awareness and Solihull Approach. I have been supporting children and adults with learning disability and other neurodiverse conditions for almost 9 years. I am currently working in a children’s home, supporting children with a range of physical and mental health conditions, and who may display behaviours of concern. I have a strong passion for improving access to services and supports for all children, and for utilising multi-professional approaches to achieve this.
